A New Direction: The Witch Returns to Church

What I've found while diving deep into the Christian Mysteries

Hello, lovelings.

First of all, I want to thank you, from the oceanic depths of my heart, for your outpouring of generosity in response to my last post asking for help after losing my job.

I have never straight-up asked for financial help before. I was mortified and humiliated by having to do so.

But within just a few hours, I received so many generous donations that most of my expenses for the upcoming month are covered. 😭

I was weeping with gratitude all night. Now I can relax as I look for a new job, instead of freaking out about how I’m going to make my next car payment or afford groceries.

Thank you, to every new paid subscriber. Thank you, to all my new SymbolSpeak students. Thank you, to everyone who bought a ticket to my event next Saturday. Thank you, to everyone who sent relief via Venmo, Ko-Fi and Stripe.

And this all leads quite nicely into an announcement of sorts — an announcement that I had been planning to make before this frightening turn of events, and must be made now that God’s grace has seen me through to the other side of it.

The Witch Has Returned to Church

For some time now, I’ve been “flirting with” the Christian Mysteries.

I’ve been visiting cathedrals with my bestie. I’ve been learning about saints who could fly and bilocate. I’ve been seeing parallels between Jesus’s teachings and my own gnosis about how Free Energy works. I’ve been “joking” about how Jesus Christ is my “Lord and Savior,” but over time this felt less like a joke and more like a fact.

This slow burn has built into a raging wildfire, and now I can honestly say that I’m “on fire for God.” 🔥

And to symbolically signify my spiritual rebirth, I will be getting baptized this Sunday — my birthday, 7/7.

Trust me, y’all: Nobody is more shocked by this than me.

I grew up in an abusive Pentecostal church, blah blah… I’ve talked about my religious trauma a million times.

But perhaps, what was more traumatizing than being wrongly exploited by a church, was how it gave me the erroneous idea that God was wrong.

All this time, there was a deep hollow — a “God-shaped hole,” if you will — in the center of me, that I desperately denied the existence of… while, paradoxically, attempting to fill by my own power, because there was no way in Hell that I would let “God” try to fill me. Absolutely not! Not after everything that happened to me!

But now here we are. No more “flirting with” the Christian Mysteries. No more merely dipping my toes in the water. I’m diving deep now, finding its sunken treasures, and bringing them to the surface to gleam in the light of the ever-giving Sun.

It’s time to turn this lead into gold.

Once a Witch…

The kicker is this: I’m still very much a magickian.

So this is not one of those “New Age to Jesus” testimony posts (the likes of which I would be thrilled to never see again 🤢).

I’m not turning my back on magick. Quite the opposite, actually: I am thoroughly convinced that Jesus was a magickian — a Free Energy magickian, that is. I believe continuing The Great Work is precisely what Jesus would want me — and everyone! — to do.

What Jesus was saying is the same thing I’ve been shouting from the rooftops for years: Death is unnecessary. So is darkness. So is evil.

The only reason people think we “have to” die, or reincarnate, or experience darkness, is because they’re stuck in a cycle. A limited circuit. Samsara, if you will.

Jesus was showing us the way out.
Towards light.
Towards life.

Jesus’s crucifixion was the blood sacrifice to end all blood sacrifices.

In a world of people addicted to indebtedness, who insist that you need to give in order to get, or that “death ~NeEdS~ to exist so that life can exist” (ugh, shut the fuuuck upppp 🙄), Jesus viscerally demonstrated that you don’t need to take life to sustain life. Nothing needs to die for something else to live.

Leave the ouroboros’s circuit! Ascend! Towards Free Energy! No more death! Life only! Life forever!

Alchemy

The reason I even started reconsidering Christianity in the first place was because I was triggered.

Somebody said,
“Your soul chose the religion you were born into. And since all religions essentially teach the same things, if you reject one, you reject them all. You cannot claim to understand any of them if you reject any of them. Dismissing your birth religion is easy. But returning to it with the intent to understand it, is the Great Work.”

Boyyyy oh boy, did this get under my skin. I grated my teeth about it for years.

But now, having swallowed that bitter medicine, I see the truth in that triggering statement.

So this isn’t really about Christianity, per se. I’m not here to evangelize, or convince you to believe what I believe. I’m not an ideologue about it.

Really, this is about alchemy.
About taking the lead that was my birth religion —
that which “held me down” —
dense, heavy, seemingly irredeemable and useless —
Saturnian AF —
and turning it into actual gold.
Luminous.
Brilliant.
Solar.

Returning to the religion of my birth is High Magick.
This what alchemists do.

I see the gold now, in prayer. I see the gold now, in worship. In surrender. In faith. In all these ~stupid religious things~ I use to despise, look down on, spit at.

I am so very humbled to see how wrong I was all along — and to realize how many of these religious “simpletons” I used to scoff at, were actually into some advanced spiritual practices all along, arguably closer to God’s nature than I thought I was. (Like, guys — do you know how hard it is to HAVE FAITH when your circumstances seem insurmountable? That is some advanced-ass magick right there!)

For God did not behold the shortcomings of man and dismiss us, or give up on us. No. He did the hard thing. He came down here to Saturn’s world, the Land of the Dead, to transmute us, to redeem us. He took up Saturn’s cube-cross, alchemized it, and rose again like the Sun, inconquerable. Sol invictus.

He did this to show us how to do the same.

Saturn → Sun.

Lead → gold.

Carbon body → light body.

A magickian indeed.

A man-God after my own heart.

The cross is indeed a Saturnian symbol of death, which is why it’s important not to “worship the cross” but to recognize that it was overcome — and made irrelevant — by Jesus’s resurrection.

Activating your Immortal Body of Light is the end goal of world religions.

In the Judeo-Christian tradition, this body is called the “resurrection body” or the “glorified body.” Not surprisingly, Saint Paul named it the “celestial body” or the “spiritual body.”

In Sufism, it is called the “most sacred body” and the “supra-celestial body.”

In Taoism, it is called the “diamond body” and those few humans who have attained it are called “the immortals.”

In Tibetan Buddhism, it is called the “light body.”

In Tantrism and various yoga systems it is called the “vajra body” and the “adamantine body.”

In Ancient Egypt, it was called “the luminous being.”

Sri Aurobindo, a great Indian teacher and mystic, declared that the “divine body” is the ultimate goal of human evolution. He said dormant “seeds” of immortality exist within each of us now waiting to bloom and bear fruit.

Looking Ahead

The point of this post is to kind-of introduce the new direction my writing will be taking. I find myself so passionately — emotionally, spiritually, erotically — lit-up by God, that all I want to do lately is talk about God’s Wonders and Mysteries.
So I’m going to do that. 😃

And of course, I’m going to do that in my wayward style that doesn’t fit into any neat denomination, and might even be considered blasphemous by some. I’m sure to offend as many Christians as I will anti-Christians. Oh, well! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But how can I shut up? This Christianity thing is lit, guys!

Like did you know that Adam was not a man, but a hermaphrodite?
And that Eve wasn’t taken from his rib, but was Adam’s entire side — literally, his other half?

Shiva-Shakti.

And did you know that when God instructed the Israelites to march around the Walls of Jericho blowing horns and shouting, and the wall fell, that this constituted FREQUENCY WARFARE?!

God was showing the Israelites how to make their voices and instruments into sonic weapons that were powerful enough to collapse architecture!

Good news, conspiracy theorists! All the HAARP and nanotech weaponry in the world can’t match the power of the very bodies God gave us.

This is why “‘No weapon that is fashioned against you shall prosper, and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me,’ says the Lord" (Isaiah 54:17 NRSV).

I could go on. And I will.

All in due time.

Until then, thank you for being along for this lifelong ride of amassing perspectives in order to distill the Truth from them.

And to bring it back to the situation at hand, which I mentioned at the start of this post: I see now, how God’s provision was contingent upon me asking for it, and then opening up to actually receive it.

In fact, leading up to the loss of my job, I had been practicing “radical generosity,” per Randy Alcorn’s book The Treasure Principle, which makes the case that God wants us to give away as much of “our” money and possessions as possible — because this is what Free Energy looks like in practice.

Jesus preached more about money and possessions than he did about Heaven and Hell, after all.

So when I lost my job and found myself relying on the generosity of strangers, I was shown — viscerally, tangibly — what a world of Free Energy can look like.

It looks like us looking out for each other.

It looks like mercy.

It looks like grace.

It looks like the kind of love that would compel a stranger to help a stranger, as you all so generously did.

This is the world I want to live in.

So from this moment forward, let my life — and everything I create, write, and sing about — contribute to the establishment of God’s Free Energy Empire on Earth. Amen.

May God extend His mercy and grace towards you all. 🙏🏽
