I had the honor of being interviewed on How I Healed Podcast, a profoundly inspiring and necessary show that features stories of healing in sovereignty outside the dominant medical paradigm. How I Healed approaches healing from a holistic angle, honoring that healing is a spiritual journey as much as it is a physical one.
In this episode, we talked about my journey of healing from a lifetime of psychological and physical trauma inflicted upon my voice (through the literal exploitation of my singing for money by the cultic church I grew up in, and through the metaphorical “silencing” of my questions),
and how my healing journey led me to reclaiming my voice in many ways, most remarkably by making music on my own sovereign terms:
Naturally, our conversation also touched on many other topics, like self-compassion, learning how to stand up for oneself, lucid dreaming, human psychic abilities, and God (as always).
And here’s the video version, for those of you who prefer to watch podcasts 📺
There’s also an extra exclusive Behind the Scenes episode for paid subscribers of How I Healed, so definitely upgrade to support these lovely ladies!
How I Healed is hosted by two super awesome long-time friends of mine:
- , a brilliant fellow mystic and woman of many talents (including some of the most beautiful woodworking and mind-blowing astrology & tarot readings I’ve ever experienced) who shares her clever and heartfelt cosmic insights on .
- , a midwife, independent nurse practitioner, and herbalist who shares unflinching analyses of transhumanism, industrialized medicine, reclaiming the power to heal oneself, and more, over at her substack .
Alicen, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this and learning about your self healing process!
Thrilled to see your self-healing journey is being shared so it can inspire others to embark on their own UnMinding transformations, Alicen! 🙌
