sundance those away.
You don’t fear capture or imprisonment
because you’ve learned to teleport.

what’s in the food or the latest shot
because you have the power to tread on scorpions.
No amount of algorithmic censorship or shadowbanning can sway you,
because telepathy is always an option.
It’s 2045.
It doesn’t matter who’s president or how the economy’s doing,
because you’re sovereign, and therefore understand
how those systems are only legitimized by
your participation in them.

no longer work on you
because you’ve reclaimed agency over your attention.
The “royal family” is no longer relevant
because you know they aren’t descendants of the true divine bloodline.
You are.
It’s 2045.
You' stopped complaining about “THEM” or “the elites” or “the controllers”
or whatever
because you realized YOU
were the operant power all along.
And the “bad guys” didn’t win
because you stopped mindlessly casting their stupid predictive-programming,
future-scripting hexes on their behalf.
It’s 2045.
You’re in truth.
You’re in power.
You’re in love.
You’re free.
And you know it,
so you talk like it
and you act like it.
I keep seeing memes where people "jokingly" write from the future about how dystopian the world is... not seeming to realize that by speaking it (even as a joke!) they're making it true. The power of life and death is in the tongue, and I choose life. So here's my version of those memes, except mine isn't a joke in the slightest. I mean every word.
I will always speak power into you, my love. Because that's what I truly see in you, even if you don't.
