On the Mockery of Good Witches
The real reason people sneer at "love and light"
As an ideological rogue, I don't just talk about "being open-minded." I actively practice it. I constantly go searching for perspectives to play with. The more taboo a perspective, the more I want to hear from the people who hold it.
I pride myself on being able to understand pretty much any idea, no matter how bizarre. But there's one I still don't, and may never, understand, and that is: baneful magick.
I've spent years now, eavesdropping on conversations between dark mages, who brag about how many people they've remotely killed or injured with hexes or the help of demons. I listen as they rattle off "reasons" why they live by the sword, vengeful & ruthless in their quest for "power."
They swear that this depravity is NECESSARY to one's spiritual development. They even mock Love & Kindness, as if these values are the stuff of fairy tales.
Imagine that! They can imagine a million ways to kill their brother but can't imagine a way to kill the urge to kill! 🙄
Here's an idea:
Last night I had a powerful breakthrough during inner child work. My Inner Child told me that she wants, more than anything, a sincere apology.
So I decided to manifest it, for her & for me.
I closed my eyes, opened my heart, & meditated on what it would feel like, for the first time in my life, to receive a heartfelt apology.
A half-hour later, I got a call from someone who had emotionally wounded me. He apologized to me, exactly as I'd imagined minutes before.
I received his apology, and in doing so, he felt healed too — of his guilt.
Today I shared this with a witch friend, & she felt healed as well - because she's preparing to apologize to someone in her own life!
My magick avenged immeasurable amounts of pain... & no one had to die! 🙃
You know why so many ~powerful~ magicians don't want to try healing instead of hurting?
Because it's embarrassing.
It requires humility, patience, self-control,
and most of all, courage... and they have none.
They can't handle a few moments of self-exposure.
Cowards.
It's easy to kill. Anyone can do it.
