This’ll be quick:

I recently realized that the way I manage my social media is a MESS.

I’ve been in the bad habit of not-updating all my platforms (insta, facebook, e-mail list, etc.) whenever I post content. So people who don’t use Instagram (my favorite platform) often don’t find out about my new stuff. Same for my YouTube subscribers, etc.

Trying to keep up with all my compartmentalized social media accounts feels like my consciousness is being torn in 20 different directions. It’s aggravating. I almost hurled my phone at a wall a few times this week. 🫣

And now that I’ve got 3 projects going at once (my writing here, my music, and my church), that feeling is on steroids.

So this is the solution I’ve come up with:

From now on, this Substack will be where I post everything I create.

All my essays.

All my music.

All my videos.

And possibly all my Church sermons (coming soon!)

The main reason is that I don’t feel like paying Wix for the luxury of emailing my mailing list subscribers anymore 🤪
So I figured, since Substack is supposed to be used like a mailing list, why not start using Substack like a mailing list? It’s free!

All this is to say, you’re now subscribed to ME! In general! 🤩
Not just my writing, but now my other content, too!

To kick off this new way of using Substack (which is actually the normal way that most people have been correctly using it — but whatever, the past is the past), let’s play ~ketchup~!
